Terms and Conditions

Booking is an offer by you to acquire the Services from us subject to this Agreement. By placing a booking through our Website, you agree that: You are legally capable of entering into binding contract and You are 18 years old or over.

1.Bookings

1.1

Cartier Chauffeur requests a minimum of 3 hours’ notice for any online bookings during normal UK office hours and 6 hours during out of office hours.

1.2

If you would like to book a car with less than 3 hours’ notice or out of office hours, please call: +44 (0)20 8660 4040 /+44 (0)7402 993 983.

1.3

Online quotations do not allow at present for public and bank holidays like Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve where there is an additional surcharge. Please indicate on the quote if your proposed booking is for a bank holiday or on any other special date.

1.4

All major sporting events such as Wimbledon and Ascot are charged at a premium rate which may mean online bookings for these types of events may not be valid.

2.Payment and Deposits

2.1

We accept all major Credit or debit cards and carry no surcharge anywhere in the world.

2.2

We accept PayPal, world pay payments.An administration charge of 3% will be added to your final bill.

2.3

All prices online are exclusive of VAT and when quoted and subject to 20% VAT.

2.4

Payment terms for all online bookings are:
All payments are due to be paid 100% prior to booking.

2.5

Payment terms for Wedding car hire non refundable 20% payments in advance and balance will be requested 21 days prior to the event.

2.6

Any deviations to the original booking price, such as additional waiting time, extra hours, car parking, additional stops and address changes will automatically be charged from the credit/debit card or the payment method that you provided upon booking in accordance with the pricing structure of Cartier Chauffeur London Limited.

2.7

Meet and greet service at all Airports will be charged £10.00 which entitles to 60 minutes free waiting time and parking after the flight is landed. After 60 minutes for every 15 minutes £10.00 will be charged.

2.8

Waiting time at all other times first 15 minutes will be free and there after it is charged at £10.00 per every 15 minutes increment and parking charges.

2.9

Your booking will be subject to ferry, motorway and tunnel tolls charges.

3.Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1

1 If you cancel prior to –
48 hours – 50% of all monies paid will be non-refundable
24 hours-100% of all monies paid will be non-refundable
If you cancel before 48 hours will refund all monies after the administration fees been charged if applicable.

3.2

If a wedding booking is cancelled within 1 month from the start of the period of hire, the deposit will be non-refundable. If a wedding booking is cancelled within 2 weeks from the start of the period of hire, the full hire amount will still be charged to the customer.

3.3

If multiple vehicle bookings are cancelled by the Customer for any major social and business events, within 5 days from the start of the period of hire, 100% of all monies paid will be non- refundable.

3.4

If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, all monies paid will be non-refundable.

4.Luggage

4.1

We will transport a reasonable quantity of luggage as mentioned on the website accompanying Passengers. If, however, in the judgement of our chauffeur, the volume or weight of luggage is excessive, then we reserve the right to refuse to transport all or part of the luggage.

4.2

All property and luggage remain at all times the responsibility of you and the Passengers. We accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage, no matter how caused, to your property or luggage or those of Passengers.

5.Passenger Behaviour

5.1

Cartier Chauffeur London Limited and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passengers who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the Chauffeur, the vehicle or any other passenger(s). In such circumstances, without prejudice to our other rights and remedies you must still pay to us the full Price for the Booking and we will have no responsibility or liability for any losses or costs to you or any Passenger for any incomplete performance of the Services.

5.2

Cartier Chauffeur London Limited maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles. The charge for non-compliance is £150.00.

5.3

You accept responsibility and will indemnify us for any interior or exterior damage to or loss of the Vehicle or any of our property caused or incited to be caused by you or any Passenger no matter how the damage is caused.

5.4

You will pay for all cleaning and valet costs(minimum of £100.00) for our Vehicle if any Passenger causes any spillage or suffers from self-inflicted illness or any other way causes the cleanliness of the Vehicle to be of a lower standard than at the Pick-up Time.

6.Confidentiality

6.1

By supplying your email address, you permit Cartier Chauffeur to contact you via email, in return we promise never to supply your email to any third party.

6.2

6.2 You and we will both treat all information received from or created for each other marked “confidential” or “private” or reasonably obvious to be confidential as we would treat our own confidential information.

7.Termination

7.1

Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our drivers are punctual and commence the service within 30-minute, Time is not of the essence and you must accept performance and pay the Price provided that the Services commence within 30 minutes of the Pick-up Time If we fail to commence the Services within 30 minutes of the Pick-up Time for reasons within our reasonable control, you have the right to terminate the Agreement for that Booking and you will receive a full refund of any advance payment and deposit that you have paid to us but we shall have no other liability to you.

8.Warranties and Liability

8.1

We warrant that our Services will be performed using reasonable care and skill.

8.2

Our liability to you in respect of death or personal injury resulting from our negligence shall not be limited. Other than in those respects: (a) our total liability to you shall not exceed the lesser of the Price or the money actually received from you for the Services in respect of which a claim has been made; and (b)

8.3

we shall have no liability to you for loss of profits, goodwill, reputation, business contracts, revenue, production, anticipated savings, nor for losses arising from third party claims which arise in connection with the Services nor any other losses or expenses; and (c) we shall have no liability to you for any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs or expenses including any labour, or the hiring of a replacement vehicle.

8.4

The exclusions and limitations of liability set out in this Agreement exclude and limit all of our liability to you for all matters arising in connection with this Agreement whether in contract, tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty or otherwise.

8.5

You must indemnify us in respect of any claims for loss, damage, injury or expense by any third party arising directly or indirectly from your use of the Services or making them available to a third party including any Passenger or otherwise arising in connection with this Agreement except for death or personal injury to the extent that it results from our negligence.

9.Miscellaneous

9.1

We reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.

9.2

Cartier Chauffeur London Limited will make every effort to ensure that our vehicle(s) or Sub-Contractors vehicle(s) arrive on time.

9.3

Cartier Chauffeur London Limited vehicle(s) and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and Cartier Chauffeur London Limited shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.

9.4

Cartier Chauffeur London Limited will keep a lost property book at the office, and will endeavour to return any lost goods left in our vehicle(s).

9.5

Our chauffeurs will, unless agreed otherwise with you, wear a uniform (Dark suit, shirt and tie with smart polished dark shoes) to perform the Services.

9.6

The driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits.

9.7

Unless we have agreed with you that a particular route should be used, our chauffeur may use any route to a destination that in his opinion is the best and most convenient route for driving whether or not it is actually the shortest route.

9.8

We have no responsibility or liability to you for any delay in arriving at any destination for any reason after leaving the Pick-up Address.

9.9

We may provide subcontracted vehicles occasionally.

  • All bookings must go through Cartier Chauffeur London Limited and Customers are not allowed Direct Contact, passing Contact Details with Drivers to use them in the future.
  • Nothing contained in these terms and conditions affects the Client’s’ statutory rights.

Cartier Chauffeur London Limited aim to provide exceptional levels of service on every journey. If you feel you have cause for complaint, please contact Cartier Chauffeur London Limited in writing within 30 days.
